Detection of Cu particles volume fraction in vibrating Al-Cu mixtures by multiple-amplitude modulation implemented in impedance measurement system (<i>m</i>AM-IMS)

Copper (Cu) particles volume fraction in Aluminum-Copper (Al-Cu) have been detected by multiple-amplitude modulation which is implemented into an impedance measurement system (mAM-IMS). The mAM-IMS has evaluation section and a section. composed of three steps are 1) step single frequency fm for Cu φCu detection static Al-Cu mixtures, 2) multiple vibrating 3) determination multiple-AM the best carrier frequencies fm/fc combination mixtures under vibration fp. All investigated simulation study. After step, tested evaluated wet-type gravity separator (WGS) deck experimental constant As result, with should satisfy requirement ≤ fp < fc where = 2.5fp. By evaluating normalized measured Z′^expm range 0% 57.14%, able to detect spatial-mean error deviation 〈ε〉=8.12%.
